Oh Baby! Company helps pregnant couples track progress of children.

A year after launching her software product for new parents, Aruni Gunasegaram has teamed up with San Diego firm Motif 1 Productions Inc. so that parents-to-be can see the progress of their babies before they’re born.

Motif 1 makes a computer screensaver called ExpectantSee that shows the pregnancy from conception to due date. Along with screen shots, parents also get tidbits about fetal development and pregnancy facts.

“When pregnant women see on their PC a moving image of a fetus at the same stage as theirs, they’re fascinated,” says Beth Bacon, president of Motif 1. “The images change and grow over time, and they can begin to bond early.”

New and Novel: A Peek at Your Baby

Do you ever find yourself patting your tummy and daydreaming about what your growing baby looks like? Do you wonder how big he is and how he’s developing every day? Most parents-to-be do, and Motif 1 Productions, a woman-owned company dedicated to creating software products forĀ  women and children, is offering families a peek into the womb.

They’ve created a new screensaver program especially for pregnant women called ExpectantSee. You just install it on your computer and enter your due date.

Whenever your computer is idle you’ll see pictures of what a fetus at your baby’s sage of development looks like. It allows you to track your baby’s progress from day one so you can see the changes your baby is going through. The program also offers fun pregnancy facts that pop up on your screensaver every 10 seconds.
